Full-Arc Satellite Systems

hydro4a.gifA Full-Arc satellite system allows you to receive broadcasts from multiple satellites orbiting the earth, provided that the satellites you wish to receive are within your reflectors' line of sight. The Full-Arc satellite system consists of a reflector, mount, receiver, feed assembly, control cables and receiver. There are hundreds of broadcasts to choose from; some "in the clear" and some which require a subscription. For the reception of subscription programming a decoder module may also be necessary as would be payment to the various program providers for subscription programming. The following pages will help you to understand some of this satellite technology.

One of the most helpful sites I have ever visited dealing with Full-Arc satellite is the Netlink site at Satellite Help. Here you will find information about programming, system components, their care and selection, information about receiver programming - a plethora of useful, concise information for the Full-Arc enthusiast.
